Editorial policy
Rural Showbiz Review aims to be clear about what a piece says, how it is presented and what readers can do if they spot a problem. Our coverage is editorially independent and written for general readers.
Accuracy and clarity
We take care with names, descriptions and claims, and we distinguish explanation from opinion. Where a statement needs qualification, we say so plainly. Readers can contact us with a correction or a question; we review the information and amend published wording when a change is warranted.
Corrections
When we confirm a meaningful error, we correct the relevant text and make the change clear where appropriate. A correction request is welcome even if it is brief: tell us what appears wrong and where you found it, and include supporting context if you have it.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are not for sale. Paid or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and partners do not control our editorial conclusions.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. We use them as illustrations, not as documentary evidence, and aim to avoid presenting an illustrative image as a real event or person.
A good show belongs to its place
The room, the audience and the people putting on the event all shape the evening. We look at those details without turning every show into a verdict.
